The Office Has Run Its Course

Sorry dude, it's the truth. The characters are impossible to believe. Apparently Jim wants to try at his job. why? So he can see his girlfriend all day and its easy? Michael tells a high school kid that Pam will "do him" and she doesn't just quit? Ridiculous. Michael who may be a dimwit, has zero brains now and makes every mistake in the world. I don't care if you've become complacent in your job. I am positive someone in that office would sue his ass off. What's holding them back? What is holding all these characters back?

My main issue with this show dwells on Pam and Jim. In reality they should be gone (in the T.V. Universe), the end of next season. The problem there is where's the show? You can't have the only two characters that people identify with just up and leave the show. Pam as a human being cannot continue being defaced on a serial basis and Jim cannot continue bleeding his soul down a drain. Sure people stay with jobs they hate (I've done it), but they are looking on the outside constantly. The main problem I see is the cast of the Office is now irreplaceable, and that has made the show irrelevant and a cartoon. Dwight can't leave he's too silly, Michael is the focal point and the highest profile actor, Jim is every man, Pam is the cute office sweetheart, etc. Who could you replace? I'm sorry but this show has jumped the shark.
