Southside with the Devil

For some reason I feel this show go here. 5 o'clock I am meeting up with Hannah to trek down to the show side to watch the sox sweep the Astros. I told her I wouldn't wear a cubs shirt but I just can't do that. So to make her feel better I am gonna wear my jacket with the cubshirt underneath. I mean a true sports fan can't give in because of pressure. Right? Well that's how I see it. I don't want to ruin her evening by getting jeered all evening so I'll keep it under wraps. I don't hate the sox I am just a cubs fan. I would wear a Joe Crede jersey (I lvoe that guy) but alas I don't own one. I would get a Jacque Jones (cubs) jersey but I don't think he is gonna be around long enough to warrant owning it. Allright well that's the story with that. . I like this set up prehappenings I can blog here but to get the taste of the goings on you gotta hit up blogspot. Nice. Well I'll tell show you pics and what not later. Love you homies.

Good News

This will make your weekend And in other news the Studio is incorporated and today I go to get the Tax ID. Hooray for Friday.

A Finals Thought

Okay I love Dwayne Wade. I have mentioned that here before so there is no need to get into that nonsense. Now I just read the ESPN.com breakdown of is it a Wade World? Why did the Mavs lose? Should Shaq and Riles call it a day? Woudl the Heat win if they started the series over? The answers were pretty boring except for the last question. Everyone was saying the Heat would win without a doubt. Most of the comments were saying a Heat Sweep. The final comment said "Heat in four. Who would ever doubt these guys?" I like that comment and it got me to thinking. What finals winners could beat the heat. I mean they have two amazing pieces. A unstoppable Dwayne Wade (clutch as hell and can drive and dish like a monster). So who could beat them. I am only go on the modern NBA so we'll say From Magic Johnson on. I think there are only a few teams I see beating the heat. Probably the 80 Lakers, 86 Celtics, 96 Bulls, and possibly the 99 Spurs and 00 Lakers. These teams are match up

You should see the other guy

Yeah... Marieta and I nailed a deer last night on our way back to Oak Park. We were just outside of Davneport and a deer came out of thick tail green grass on the side of highway. Out of nowhere! WAM! Thank God it was only a small doe other wise we would be dead on side of the highway. We didn't get to Oak Park until 1145. The car is currently in moline at a toyota body shop to get an estimate. Thank goodness for AAA and Enterprise otherwise we wouldn't have gotten home. By the way if you're looking for a cheap car that rides real comfortable, spacious, and quiet than consider the Chevy Cobalt (our rent-a-car). In other news... I think my silver sleigh might have seen it's last drive through the streets of the windy city. Hey, atleast the weekend was a lot of fun otherwise.

Chicago Bluesfest

All right dudes. Last night Marieta and I went down to the Chicago Blues Fest. We were supposed to go with my bud Charlie and his wife but they decided the train ride and dinner would be too much coin for them to handle so we swung it by ourselves. It was a pretty fun deal. Marieta and I got chicago dogs, we watched a group on the main stage, and walked around to take it all in. I would say more but I don't really feel like it. If you want to see pics check out this link. Chicago Bluesfest Well that's it buddies, now if you excuse me the world cup is on TV, I have yet to take a shower today, and I'm leaving for Iowa in a couple hours. PEACE!

The Skinny on the Studio

So you want to know a secret? Okay, but don't tell anyone. I am starting a Recording/Videography studio. That's right. My new buddy Charlie and I are going into business together. We both started at Sam Ash at the same time and quit at roughly the same time. What pushed us over the edge? The idea of going into business together in this idea. Here's the skinny. I want to open a recording studio with Videography as a big part of it (you know music videos, studio videos, and all sorts of video production for customers), but I am learning quite a bit about recording. Charlie just moved here from Milwaukee with his wife and wants to reopen his studio down here. So we talked it all over and decided that we should get a space and go into business together. Well maybe you think we just met and we shouldn't go into business together. I mean maybe he's a con man or doesn't know anything about recording. Well, no that's not the case. I met his wife, been to his house,

Don't interrupt a singer when he's in a funky grove

You need to seeThe Break Up. As far as I am concerned Vince Vaughn is leaving quite a comic legacy. His career may have started with Swingers but his real climb to the comic mountain top started with Old School, than Wedding Crashers, and he is close to the summit with The Break Up. I loved this movie. It had big laughs, great plot points, great side characters, and a great ending that you don't see coming. Awesome. Check it out. Now maybe you're a punk who reads reviews from so called professionals and to you people I say don't listen to them. The complaints being heard are the main characters (Vaughn and Anniston) don't have good chemistry and don't appear to be people truly in love. That is funny because the chemistry is gone in their characters relationship and they may still love each other but Gary (Vaughn) has completely lost sight of Brook (Anniston) as someone to cherish and value, while Brook is tired pulling the weight in the relationship. The problem wit
