This past summer the man known as Martin Martini Ini gave me like 25 VHS filled with Horseshoe Spatula performances from the past 12 years and a bunch of other random craziness he gathered thru out the years. Things were pretty crazy when he handed them off but I'm finally getting to digitizing them. Here's a tasty shot circa... 2001? Sometimes facebook stalkers need to actually visit my blog to see the fun stuff; http://stuntbunny.blogspot.com Maybe you don't find that cool or even interesting in the slightest but being as these guys were my favorite band I love this crap. Big River, A King Corn Companion Piece

Two years ago Marieta and I attended a screening and community forum in Oakland, Califoran on the film King Corn . The documentary is basically two dudes learning all the uses of corn and how corn came be the wonder crop (and not in a good way) that it is. As a way to give the film some narrative they move to Iowa for a summer to grow an acre of corn on their great grandparents land. Really interesting and intelligent documentary. Well guess what... they're back, and this time they are looking into the environmental impact their acre of corn. Check it out: Big River Trailer from Wicked Delicate Films on Vimeo . Sorry Facebookers, you'll have to click here to watch this video. I'm excited to see this. They are touring the film around according to the Big River site . Even cooler than that! It's showing in Iowa, thanks to Practical Farmers of Iowa. Oh I'm going, who is going with us?
