All is calm on Midwestern Front

Whats up, Not much here. I am just chillin out rockin the intranet. You know what I love most about having a job now? It's the idea that I can stroll around the net looking at musical gear and think about things I want and now that I have a job I can actually purchase these things. Infact a few things I am considering buying include a moog, some new pickups for one of my guitars and just random this and thats for recording purposes. So I am listening to North To Alaska, I don't understand why these guys broke up. They released this EP called "Everything right now" and I think it rocked. Needed some compression on the vocals, some remixing, and what not but I dug it. Quality rock n roll. Hey remember that test I mentioned? The Eut, the test I needed to pass to stay in the Journalism program here at ISU? Well I didnt pass it. Yeah, that was my last allowable attempt and you need a C to pass, I got a C-. That shit sucks. So tomorrow I am meeting with my advisor and i

So tomorrow I will find out if I pass the test that allows me to be my major, Journalism. I took this test on grammar. I know what you're all thinking! There is no way I passed that test because there is way too many mistakes on this webpage. You know what man! You're probably right. I am shaking in my boots. I dont know what I'll change my major to if I didn't pass... We'll see, and I'll let you know.

Eating my words

I admit it, I was one of those people who said Kill Bill was going to suck horrible ass. I am totally taking that back. After seeing the movie I must say, that movie kicked so much ass it's hard to describe it. I dont want to give anything away but the filming and portrayol (SP?) of the story was just awesome. The entire movie is just a roller coaster ride. When the movie ends you look at your watch and say "IT'S BEEN TWO HOURS!" But seriously the action is true to life, the blood and guts is quality B Movie stuff and the storyline/script is Tarantino at it's best. One of my favorite things about his movies is how they all that vibe of Characters from the 70s who are magically living in modern times. The colors, the dialogue, the movement, it's all so entirely retro. If you dont like blood, guts, and violence you atleast have to see this movie for the sheer cinematic brillance that it is. I can't say enough good things about this film. But I dont want t

The heat is on

The heat is on, 10.06.2k3 So I watched Back to the Future two this week and I notice some things that just didnt work. Okay you remember when Doc tells Marty that if you take the time machine and go into the past and change something it alters the future and you will never return to the same future? Well Old Biff from the future with floating cars stells the time machine and goes back to 1958 to give himself the sports almanac. Now I am not a crazy mad scientist but if went back in time and gave himself the almanac he shouldnt have been able to return to the future from where he stole the time machine return it to Marty because that future wouldnt exist anymore, infact the time machine shouldnt even exist because after Biff changed the future with giving his youngself the almanac Doc gets thrown into an insane asylum before the time machine was even invented making it a time/space paradox... SO THIS MOVIE IS (For lack of searching for a better word) FUCKED! You cant change the past a
