Taking Chance

If you can't tell I'm a big movie fan. Sadly I don't make enough money to overindulge in my addiction but I try hard to see what I can. I love to follow movie festivals and would one day love to attend the SXSW movie festival in Texas and the Sundance (and across the street SlamDance). So what am I driving at? Taking Chance.

I follow firstshowing.net all the time and they recently unveiled a trailer for this flick about a real life Iraq war hero, Chance Phelps, who died trying to save his crew while they were evacuated under fire. This movie carries a lot of promise. If this story carries little message about the right and wrong of the war and truly carries more of a message about soldiers and the reverence they deserve than... I think this film could be huge.
